SCALe INFO DAY at NUBB Highlights Smart City Skills and Innovation
On August 24, 2024, the National University of Battambang (NUBB) hosted its SCALe INFO DAY in Room B6, welcoming 51 participants for an engaging workshop on smart city development in Cambodia. The event opened with a warm welcome from Mr. Hour Ry, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism, who introduced the SCALe project and its role in capacity building for smart, sustainable cities.
The workshop featured presentations on key topics including entrepreneurship, design thinking, food innovation, and smart tourism management. Speakers emphasized how entrepreneurial skills and innovative approaches are essential to Cambodia’s smart city future. The session also encouraged knowledge sharing among participants, sparking discussions on how to strengthen smart city competencies locally. The day concluded with a closing address, a participant survey, and a photo session to capture the collaborative spirit of the event.
