Empowering B40 Women Entrepreneurs through KIC Smart Governance and Economics Initiatives

In the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur, a unique group of women gathered to share their stories, challenges, and aspirations. These women, hailing from the B40 community—representing the bottom 40% income group in Malaysia—are entrepreneurs striving to break free from economic limitations. The engagement session, led by the UTM Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) team, was part of a larger effort to support B40 women entrepreneurs through the Smart Governance and Economics Initiatives.

UTM Signs LOIs with Traintribute PTL and AdamHawa Malabis Gallery: Partnerships in SCALe KIC Smart Governance and Economics

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has taken a significant step in advancing its collaboration within the SCALe Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) Smart Governance and Economics by signing Letters of Intent (LOIs) with two industry partners—Traintribute PTL and AdamHawa Malabis Gallery. These partnerships are designed to strengthen UTM's role in promoting industry-driven training consultation and entrepreneurship, aligning with the KIC’s goals of fostering innovation and sustainable economic growth.
